Bac Ninh (VNA) - The VietnamIndustrial and Manufacturing Fair (VIMF) 2018 opened at the Kinh Bac CulturalCentre in the northern province of Bac Ninh on June 6.

More than 200 booths are exhibited at thethree-day event, the first of its kind held in Bac Ninh province.

Representatives of many countries andterritories are in attendance, including Singapore, Japan, the Republic of Korea,India, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, the US, Indonesia, Germany, Australiaand Vietnam.

Products exhibited at the expo include machine tools and metalworking, weldingand coating, automotive and contract manufacturing, sheet metalworking, plasticmanufacturing, woodworking and cooling systems.

VIMF 2018 is an ideal foundation formanufacturers, producers, investors, suppliers and traders in and outside thecountry to promote new products; meet customers directly; contact agents anddistributors; and develop and expand the market.

This is also a chance to enhance investmentand cooperation, contributing to improving the competitiveness of enterprisesand integrating the provincial economy more deeply and effectively into theinternational economy.

Along with event, there are also IndustrialAutomation Fiesta 2018 and 3D Print Fiesta 2018.

Industrial Automation Fiesta 2018 focuseson industrial automation, factory and process automation, logistics andmaterial handling, process and packaging, pumps and valves, roboticsautomation, testing and measurement.-VNA

Ministry responds to escalating global trade tensions

Ministry proposes developing green e-commerce law

The MoIT's draft proposal to develop the Law on E-commerce will be included in the National Assembly's law and ordinance development programme in 2025 and will be presented to the NA for consideration and comments in October 2025, before being approved at a NA meeting in May 2026.
