The 12 th National Party Congress put forth tasks to develop medical centres, improve health check-ups and treatments at all levels, strengthen the preventive medical system and set up a strong staff of health workers, the President noted.

As a leading hospital, Bach Mai General Hospital should share the burden with the health sector to fulfill the above-mentioned targets, he said.

President Truong Tan Sang suggested the hospital accelerate scientific research and the application of medical advances while raising its staff members’ professional qualifications.

On this occasion, Bach Mai General Hospital for the second time received the Independence Order, third class, a noble award from the Party and State.
