At an investment promotion seminar in Ho Chi Minh City on April24, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Pham Van Tongsaid Binh Phuoc has over 5,200 hectares of available land in eightindustrial zones for industrial development.
Inaddition, a plan for the 28,300 hectare-Hoa Lu border economic zone andother industrial clusters have been approved, offering extraopportunities for investors, Tong said.
He addedthat Binh Phuoc is a key economic area that bridges the southern regionwith the Central Highlands and neighbouring countries Cambodia,Laos and Thailand.
The local economy is on the right track and the quality of human resources training has improved, Tong said.
Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Yasuaki Tanizaki said Japan willpour more capital into some cities and provinces, including Binh Phuoc,which boasts economic and tourism potential.
Theprovincial leaders pledged to speed up administrative reforms and holddialogues with investors to introduce investment opportunities and clearobstacles.-VNA
