Bosch Group opens 43 million USD facility

The German global technology and service provider Bosch Group on April 14 opened a high tech production facility for push-belts used for Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) in automobiles.

Located on 16 hectares in Long Thanh Industrial Park in thesouthern province of Dong Nai , the 30-million euro (43.3 millionUSD) plant is part of the group's Gasoline Systems division.

In the first year of operation, the plant, the first Bosch CVTproduction site in Southeast Asia , will produce 1.6 million push-beltswhich can be fitted into vehicles ranging from sub-compact cars tosports utility vehicles with diesel, gasoline or hybrid engines./.

Quang Tri province mobilises resources for fisheries infrastructure

The provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to prepare an investment proposal for upgrading and expanding the Con Co storm shelter in Con Co special zone.
