Bowling ASEAN marks bloc founding anniversary

Phnom Penh (VNA) – Nearly 100athletes from embassies of ASEAN member states in Cambodia recently took partin the Bowling ASEAN sport exchange in Phnom Penh.

Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassadorto Cambodia Vu Quang Minh stated it is a meaningful activity to celebrateASEAN’s 51th founding anniversary and Cambodia’s 20 years of ASEAN membership.

He said the sporting event connectsparticipants and consolidates solidarity within the bloc.

The exchange was an opportunity for ASEANdiplomats to gather and learn from one another to boost mutual understandingand collaboration.
