Bringing Vietnamese fashion to Sydney

The SIXDO Exclusive show from designer Do Manh Cuong was held recently at the campus of the University of Sydney in Australia, introducing a host of impressive designs.

Sponsored by the Consulate General of Vietnam in Sydney and the Consulate General of Australia in Ho Chi Minh City, the show is part of activities held within the framework of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

The collection is divided into 4 parts, with 160 designs. Highlights include boldly-designed outfits creating a sexy beauty, revealing the strength of designer Do Manh Cuong’s cutting and sewing techniques. These appear at the end of the show.

In addition, the combination of sophisticated hair accessories increases the attractiveness and uniqueness of the designs. The cool weather created favourable conditions for the models to dress in different styles.

Sixty-six models took part in the show, including leading faces from Vietnam and models from three leading agencies based in Australia./.
