Bulgarian Prime Minister Plamen Vasilev Oresharski arrived in Hanoi on April 6 for an official visit at the invitation of his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Tan Dung.
The visit from April 6-9 is expected to create a chance for leaders of both countries to discuss measures to boost bilateral ties in all fields, especially economics, trade and investment.
The two sides will also take the occasion to seek ways to implement the Vietnam-Bulgaria new cooperation model and encourage businesses of both sides to strengthen their connectivity.
During Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev’s official visit to Vietnam last year, the two countries issued a joint statement on the development of their ties towards a future strategic partnership.-VNA
