Canada helps train Vietnamese seaplane pilots

The training is part of a cooperation programme between Vietnam’snaval forces and its Canadian partners, Viking Air and Sky Pacific.

Vietnam has purchased six seaplanes from Viking Air and sentpilots and technicians to the country to learn how to fly theseaircraft.

Addressing the graduation ceremony inSidney, British Columbia on July 10, both Canadian and Vietnamese sidesspoke highly of their cooperation in this field, which they saidconveyed the rising level of multifaceted relations at a time when thetwo nations are celebrating the 40 th year of their diplomatic ties.

They expressed their belief that the friendship and cooperationbetween the two countries will further develop in the future.-VNA

Search efforts continue for Vietnamese fallen soldiers in Cambodia

During the 2026-2027 dry season, Teams K70, K71, K72 and K73 will continue their search and repatriation mission, striving to fulfil the target based on 185 pieces of information concerning 761 graves. Each team is expected to collect at least 100 sets of remains during each deployment.
