Hanoi (VNA) – China, Laos and Vietnam jointly established a drug control cooperation office in the border county of Jiangcheng in China's southwest Yunnan province on June 20.
The office looks to strengthen cooperation among the three nations on combating cross-border drug crime.
China has kept good cooperation with Laos and Vietnam on narcotics control, according to Wei Xiaojun, Deputy Director of Narcotics Control Bureau of Ministry of Public Security.
Since 2002, 10 such cooperation offices have been set up by China, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam, covering the most serious drug-plagued regions along the borders.-VNA
