Chinese President Hu Jintao arrived in Phnom Penh on March 30, kicking off a state visit aimed at enhancing the comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation between China and Cambodia.
President Hu Jintao and his entourage were welcomed on their arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport by Samdech Chaufea Veang Kong Sam Ol, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace and many other senior Cambodian officials.
During the visit, Hu is scheduled to meet Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni, Senate President Chea Sim, National Assembly President Heng Samrin, and Prime Minister Hun Sen.
The two sides are expected to discuss ways to enhance the partnership, and exchange views on major world and regional issues of mutual concern.-VNA
