Hundreds of Vietnamese expatriates operating business in the Czech Republic were provided with free medical examinations during the Community Health Day on May 7.
The event came at the initiative of two Vietnamese medical students in Prague, Pham Thu Thao and Trinh Van Duc, drawing the proactive participation of 20 Vietnamese and Czech students from medical universities in the Czech Republic.
The young students contributed their personal funds towards buying examination equipment to serve the charity event.
Last year, about 300 Vietnamese expatriates attended the event to receive free medical check-ups and consultations.
The event also conveyed a message that confirmed Vietnamese generations in the Czech Republic continue to turn their hearts to the homeland.-VNA
