According to LBGV General Director PeterEdwards, the investment aims to meet the increasing demand for gypsumsolutions in Vietnam ’s construction sector, making the company aleading provider of gypsum solutions in Vietnam .

LBGV, a subsidiary of Lafarge Boral Gypsum Asia – a joint venture ofLafarge S.A of France and Boral Co., Ltd of Australia--set up itsplasterboard factory in Vietnam in 2006 with an initial annual capacityof 10 million sq.m.

In addition to plasterboard, the company also produces and providesrelated products such as metal frames and ceiling tiles trademarkedLaGyp./.

Vietnam to move PPP bidding online from 2027
