Organised by Manzi Art Space and Work Room Four,the annual fair returns with the participation of more than 200 visual artistsworking and living in Vietnam.
The fair, which will be in its 10th and 11thedition, will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from March 28 to April 1, and in Hanoifrom April 11 to 15.
A collection of more than 500 works includingsketches, photographs, illustrations, paintings and sculptures will be ondisplay.
A line-up of vibrant and talented contemporarypractitioners in Vietnam, including Nguyen The Son, Nguyen Minh Thanh, Le CongThanh, Truong Cong Tung, Tran Trong Vu, Le Quy Tong and many others, will takepart.
According to Tram Vu, founder of Manzi Art Spaceand initiator of Art For You, the event is not only a place to discoversomething beautiful and engaging and give it a home, but also a way to supportcreative local artists.
“Over the last five years since its firstedition, Art For You has grown into an anticipated art event trusted by artistsand audiences alike,” she said. “Art For You has consistently strived tonurture and develop a network of more than 200 artists showcasing hundreds ofartworks in each fair.”
“Our objective is always to exhibit, promote andsell high quality artwork made by artists living and working in Vietnam to adiverse audience at an attractive price point in an environment that isrefreshing, contemporary and welcoming,” she said.
For Camilla Bjelkas, a cultural officer ofSwedish Embassy in Hanoi, Art For You has been a door to the city’scontemporary art scene.
“The fair shows a broad variety of disciplinesand artists, and so it is a great way to discover interesting artists to keepan eye on,” she said. “It is also very reasonably priced if you find anythingyou like.”
American curator Suzanne Lecht, who has beenliving in Hanoi for more than 20 years, said the fair is a wonderfulcontribution to the arts community.
“By presenting a wide variety of artwork by manydifferent artists, some well-known, some to be discovered, they appeal to awide market of tastes," she said.
At the fair, artists can exhibit and sell theirwork and connect with audiences. Visitors can enjoy a selection of artwork allin one place.
Art For You will take place in HCM City at 31Pho Duc Chinh street, Ben Nghe ward, district 1, and in Hanoi at the Information &Exhibition Centre, 93 Dinh Tien Hoang street. The art pieces range in pricebetween 25 USD and 900 USD.-VNS/VNA
