International cruise ship Costa Atlantica with 2,200 passengers and crew members on board anchored at the SP-PSA port in southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau province on June 14.
This is the cruise liner’s first visit to Vietnam arranged by leading Vietnamese tour operator Saigontourist.
During four days in Vietnam, the tourists explore interesting places in Ho Chi Minh City, southern Tien Giang and Ba Ria-Vung Tau provinces and central Hue, Hoi An and Da Nang cities.
Costa Atlantica is owned and operated by Costa Crociere S.p.A, a leading cruise company in Europe, which plans to organise 34 tours to Vietnam in 2013 and 2014.
Saigontourist welcomed 96 international cruise ships with a total of 175,000 passengers and crew members in 2012. In the first five months of this year, it arranged the visit of 83 ships with 162,000 visitors and crew on board.-VNA
