Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam earned 29.8 billion USD from the export of phones and devices to the US between January and November, a year-on-year increase of 3 billion USD, or 10.7 percent, the Vietnam Customs said.
The US has surpassed the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which has been Vietnam’s largest phone importer in the previous years, with an export value of 3.47 billion USD. It’s followed by the UAE, the Republic Korea and Austria, which show export turnovers of 3.38 billion USD, 2.29 billion USD and 1.72 billion USD, respectively.
Phones and devices continue to lead the country’s export value, bringing in 19.7 percent of the total export turnover.-VNA
