The Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the Yeni (New) Azerbaijan Party (YAP) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Hanoi on April 25 on boosting their cooperation, thus strengthening the traditional friendship between the two Parties as well as the two countries.
The MoU was inked by Hoang Binh Quan, Politburo member and head of the CPV Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations and Mubariz Gurbanlyi, Deputy Executive Secretary of the YAP, who is on a visit to Vietnam to attend the 19 th meeting of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties Standing Committee.
At the meeting, the two sides briefed each other on each party’s situation, and exchanged views on the two countries’ political and socio-economic developments as well as regional and international situation and issues of mutual concern.
The YAP delegate said as one of the leading political parties in Azerbaijan, the YAP attaches importance to the relations with the CPV.
They agreed that the two parties should increase the exchange of delegations at all levels and share experience in party building and state and social management.-VNA
