An exhibition displayed cultural artifacts associated with local ethnic minority groups, such as utensils, documents regarding daily life, production, religion, belief, and musical instruments. Each artifact has its own story, reflecting the soul of the ethnic minority group, and was displayed to further spread the meaning of national cultural values.
This is the first time students from the Faculty of Cultural Heritage Management at the Hanoi University of Culture have directly experienced the beauty of ethnic minority cultures.
Activities included re-enactments of festivals and rituals and performances of traditional crafts and the daily activities of ethnic minority people, with the aim of bringing the culture of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority groups closer to young people.
In addition to arousing national pride and raising a sense of responsibility in ethnic minority communities about preserving cultural identities, bringing young people and students from the city closer to the culture of each ethnic minority group is also a way to uphold the culture in a lasting and meaningful way./.
