Da Lat farm produce and food will be sold at Lotte supermarkets as part of a cooperation agreement between the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong’s Trade, Investment and Tourism Centre and the Republic of Korea’s Lotte Mart signed on April 9.

The two sides agreedto bridge local businesses which specialise in manufacturing andprocessing vegetables, fruits, and food with the 10 Lotte supermarketsin Vietnam .

Lam Dong agriculture enterpriseswill be able to sign direct contracts with the RoK company to bringlocal farm produce to consumers across the country and receive supportin goods transport.

Lotte supermarkets will reservespaces offering Da Lat agricultural products abiding by the Vietnam GoodAgricultural Practices (VietGAP)’s manufacturing process.

Lam Dong is the biggest vegetable and flower growing area in thecountry with over 53,000 hectares of vegetables and 7,400 hectares offlowers, producing nearly 1.8 million tonnes of vegetables and 2.3billion flowers annually.-VNA
