An exhibition themed “Agent Orange - Sense and Justice” will take place in the central city of Da Nang from July 23 to August 12.

The details of the exhibition were announced by Major General Tran Xuan Thu, Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin (VAVA) on July 22.

He said it is the highlight of a series of practical activities to mark the 52nd anniversary of the Agent Orange (AO) catastrophe in Vietnam and the Day for Victims of Agent Orange on August 10.

The activity will contribute to raising the awareness of local people and foreigners of the AO catastrophe and efforts made by the Vietnamese people to overcome the consequences of the US army’s chemical war while calling for social support for AO victims’ struggle for justice.

Through photos on display, visitors can feel physical and spiritual pains AO victims suffer, thus taking practical activities to help them in their lives.

On the occasion, the VAVA will introduce a collection of 159 songs reflecting affection, kindness and sympathy towards the victims and their struggle for justice.-VNA
