Da Nang (VNA) – Children and their parents in the central city of Da Nang now can access consultations regarding mental health and psychological issues of children through a website and an application. The website, Baovetreemdanang.vn, and the application, Tre em DaNang, debut at a ceremony held by the municipal Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs on April 13.
The website enables children and young people to connect with their peers, share their problems and support each other to overcome spiritual issues.
Parents and caregivers can also leave comments on the posts as encouragement to the children, while experts will interact with them and provide them with necessary courses.
Le Van Minh, Deputy Director of the department, said over the past years, Da Nang has paid attention to social welfare, including programmes and plans on child care, protection and education, which has helped to create a healthy environment to ensure all-round development of children.

He used the occasion to thank UNICEF Vietnam for its support in building the website and the application, and pledged to maintain and develop the tools./.
