The deputy foreign ministers will pay working visits to Slovenia, Croatia, Slovakia, and Singapore this July to strengthen friendship between Vietnam and the countries, announced spokesman Le Hai Binh at a regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on July 3.
Binh said during the visits to Slovenia (July 7), Croatia (July 8 – 9) and Slovakia (July 10 – 11), Deputy FM Bui Thanh Son and his counterparts will discuss issues regarding politics, diplomacy, trade, investment, culture and tourism along with regional and international matters of mutual concerns.
From July 9 – 12, Deputy FM Pham Quang Vinh will visit Singapore and participate in the 8th political consultation at the deputy foreign minister level.
Both sides are expected to talk practical measures to bolster the two countries’ strategic partnership, which was set up in September 2013, and exchange views on some global issues, the spokesman noted.
Binh further said his ministry and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will hold an international press briefing in Hanoi on July 9 to promote Vietnam’s tourism.
