Deputy PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc received Park Sam Koo, Chairman of Kumho Asiana, a business group from the Republic of Korea (RoK), in Hanoi on November 18.
The Deputy PM highly valued the contributions of the RoK conglomerate to commerce, culture, and education, including awarding scholarships to Vietnamese students. The business group’s efforts have helped strengthen Vietnam- RoK bilateral ties.
Vietnam will continue to improve its investment and business climate with a view to attracting more foreign investors in the near future, he added.
The Kumho Asiana Chairman in turn said Vietnam’s investment policies created favorable conditions for international enterprises to operate effectively in Vietnam. He asserted the group would do its best to bolster the relationship between the two countries.
