Binh Thuan (VNA) – A digital exhibition named “Vietnam’s Hoang Sa and Truong Sa: Historical and legal evidence” is being held at Ly Thuong Kiet and Nguyen Truong To high schools in La Gi township, the south-central province of Binh Thuan, on October 3-4.
The activity aims at introducing and disseminating historical and legal documents and evidence affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) to the schools’ teachers and students.
Dang Thi Hong Lam, Vice Chairwoman of the La Gi People's Committee, stated the digital exhibition is very suitable in the context that the province is focusing on digital transformation.
It helps raise the awareness among officials, teachers, and students on the role, importance, and potential of Vietnam's seas and islands, particularly in Binh Thuan province, and enhance the awareness and responsibility of each citizen in protecting the country's sacred sovereignty, she added./.
