HCM City mobilises nearly 9.3 million USD for disaster relief

To date, the city has allocated 190.6 billion VND and over 136.2 billion VND in goods for relief efforts. This includes 430 million VND for disaster-hit households within the city; 3.17 billion VND transferred to provinces as requested by donors; and 187 billion VND together with more than 136.2 billion VND in goods for localities suffering severe losses.

Russia, Sri Lanka extend condolences to Vietnam over flood losses

Prime Minister urges swift action in response to central region floods

In Official Dispatch No. 219/CD-TTg issued to the provinces and cities of Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong, along with ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, Government units and the Office of the National Civil Defence Steering Committee, the PM requested immediate implementation of essential actions to safeguard communities, with the protection of human life placed above all else.
