Authorised agencies in the southern province of Dong Nai have so far given comprehensive support to local enterprises affected by those who took advantage of the recent protests against China’s illegal actions in the East Sea to loot their property, according to Mai Van Nhon, Deputy Head of the Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority (DIZA).
The provincial departments of customs and taxation have finished administrative procedures regarding investment licensing and import-exports for the affected firms, assisting them in replacing their lost and damaged documents following the incident, Nhon said.
At the same time, the firms have also been given tax exemptions, reductions and extensions in accordance with the Government support policy, he added.
According to DIZA, almost all those enterprises have resumed their normal operations.
Earlier, Dong Nai also sent interdisciplinary working teams to hard-hit enterprises in the industrial parks of Tam Phuoc, Nhon Trach 2 and Nhon Trach 3, said Nhon.
Insurance verification is also been stepped up so that the firms can receive compensation soon, the official said.-VNA
