Dong Nai IPs see high rate of occupancy

The southern industrial hub of Dong Nai has formed 32 industrial parks (IP) with a total area of over 10,222 hectares, 31 of which have been operational with the occupancy reaching 81.93 percent, according to the Dong Nai IP Management Board.
Dong Nai (VNA) – The southern industrial hub ofDong Nai has formed 32 industrial parks (IP) with a total area of over 10,222hectares, 31 of which have been operational with the occupancyreaching 81.93 percent, according to the Dong Nai IP Management Board.

Since the beginning of this year, 64.94 hectares of the local IPshave been rent, surpassing the target of 60 hectares, mostly in Giang Dien, AnPhuoc, Loc An-Binh Son, Nhon Trach 6 and Dau Giay IPs.

Due to impact of COVID-19 pandemic, many sectors have faceddifficulties, forcing them to reduce production scale and investment.

Over 18 million USD has been invested in infrastructure systemin the IPs, raising the total investment in the system to nearly 674 millionUSD, basically completing the IP’s infrastructure.

Due to limited industrial land for lease, the board willprioritise projects with large investment, high rate of technology, and environmentfriendly.

Under a planning for IP development in 2020, Dong Nai will have35 IPs covering 11,748 hectares. Three more IPs are expected to be developed,along with the expansion of a number of operational ones.

Following Dong Nai’s request, the PM has agreed to increase theIP area in the province to 2020 to 6,500 hectares./.

Can Tho, Guangxi seek collaboration in logistics, supply chains

Chinese investors now back 35 projects in Can Tho with registered capital of nearly 1.2 billion USD. In the first seven months of 2026, Can Tho’s exports to China hit 77.5 million USD, while imports stood at 64.7 million USD. Vietnam, Russia move to boost financial cooperation

On bilateral economic, trade and investment ties, Tuan said two-way trade hit 3.24 billion USD in the first seven months of 2026, up 12% from a year earlier. Vietnam’s exports to Russia totaled 1.33 billion USD, while imports amounted to 1.91 billion USD.

Ho Chi Minh City seeks to make seaports new growth driver

To maximise its seaport advantages, Ho Chi Minh City is developing smart and green ports while promoting clean energy, lower emissions and sustainable supply chains. It aims to establish an integrated ecosystem linking seaports with industrial parks, logistics centres, free trade zones, multimodal transport networks and an international financial centre.

Vietnam promotes finance for green agriculture

Vietnam advances in building, using migrant labour data system: workshop

Data presented in the report reflects effective migration governance in recent years. The average recruitment cost paid by migrant workers dropped by 23.8%, from 164.9 million VND (6,400 USD) in 2021 to 125.7 million VND in 2025. Conversely, average first-month earnings abroad rose by 25.4%, increasing from 22.4 million VND to 28.1 million VND.
