From this June, the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature Complex) will take a step forward in technological solutions with the use of e-tickets to help visitors use the new electronic receipt system.
Specifically, visitors in groups only need to buy one ticket in the form of an e-receipt with a QR code. Each code has information on ticketing time, and number of guests, among other items.
On the customer side, checking one ticket for the whole group also helps to reduce waiting time.
The use of QR codes for convenience in management and ticket purchases are also being implemented at some relics and tourist attractions in Hanoi.
At the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, tourists can book tickets through the website, the application of the monument or the application of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism. With each ticket booking, tourists will be given a QR code to enter the monument, which facilitates the whole process and does away with the cumbersome paper ticket process./.
