The Vietnamese Embassy in Buenos Aires held a gathering on January 12 for the local Vietnamese community to celebrate the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet), the most important festival in a year for Vietnamese.

Buenos Aires (VNA) –The Vietnamese Embassy in Buenos Aires held a gathering on January 12 for thelocal Vietnamese community to celebrate the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet),the most important festival in a year for Vietnamese.

Ambassador Dang Xuan Dung tookthe occasion to update the overseas Vietnamese on the great achievements thatVietnam had recorded in the past year, including a 11-year high GDP growth of7.08 percent.

He highlighted that Vietnam andArgentina marked the 45th anniversary of their diplomatic relationsin 2018 with many activities. Bilateral trade almost reached 3 billion USD lastyear, the highest in trade between Argentina and a Southeast Asian country.

Ambassador Dung reiterated theconsistent policy of Vietnam towards overseas Vietnamese and urged theexpatriates to contribute to the development of the homeland.

The gathering brought warmmoments for participants with traditional Tet dishes and songs about the motherland.-VNA

Hanoi: 95% of administrative procedures to be handled from home

The plan targets that at least 80% of administrative procedures under the city’s authority will be provided as fully online public services, while more than 95% of applications will be received and processed entirely online. By June 30, 2026, about 80% of administrative procedures are expected to be restructured based on integrated data systems, with the figure rising to 95% by the end of the year.
