Enterprises join hands to develop supporting industries, raise automotive localisation rate

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam currently has nearly 400 enterprises engaged in automobile-related production. Among them are more than 40 vehicle manufacturing and assembly firms, 45 producing chassis, bodies and cargo boxes, and 214 making components. This reflects the steady growth of the country’s assembly industry.
