General Secretary of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations DoBa Khoa and Lao Ambassador to Vietnam Sunthone Sayachak were prominentguests at the event among Lao students who are studying in Vietnam .

Speaking at the exchange, Vice President of theVietnam-Laos Friendship Association Nguyen Huy Quang said that traininghuman resources for Laos is one of the important requirements in thecomprehensive cooperation between the two nations.

In recent years, along with great efforts made by the government, moreand more Vietnamese mass organisations, businesses and individuals havepaid attention to training officials for Laos , he added.

Ambassador Sunthone Sayachak thanked the Vietnamese Party, State andpeople for their support and assistance to Lao students over the pasttime.

She expressed wish that the Vietnamese peoplewill harvest greater achievements in their national construction andthe special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the twocountries will be continuously consolidated and developed in the future.

On the occasion, representatives from theVietnam-Laos Friendship Association and the Vietnam-Laos ConnectionCompany presented a reward of 2 million VND to five outstanding Laostudents and 100 million VND to a study promotion fund for Lao studentsin Vietnam ./.
