Hanoi (VNA) – The “Vietnam culturalheritage space” exhibition is taking place in both in-person and virtualformats to mark Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23).

The exhibition is open to public from November 22-27at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts in Hanoi, while theonline version is available from November 24 to the end of December on websites ofthe centre at http://trienlamvhnt.vn and of the Department of Cultural Heritageat http://dsvh.gov.vn.

It introduces Vietnamese intangiblecultural heritages that have been honoured, along with the traditional costumesand musical instruments used in the heritages, including the CultureSpace of Gong in Tay Nguyen, Bac Ninh love duet singing, and “Don ca taitu” music and songs of southern Vietnam.

Particularly, the exhibition highlights the Mother Goddess worshipping ritual of Vietnamese people.

Alongside, cultural heritages in different localities,along with their typical traditional handicraft products, cuisines andspecialties are also introduced.

Along with indoor section, the exhibition also hasoutdoor areas featuring products of traditional craft villages of the country.

The event aims to introduce, promote and honourcultural values of Vietnam to people inside and outside the country, whilehelping raise public awareness and responsibility in preserving and developingthe values./.
