Vietnam’s export of aquatic products maintained a two-digit growth in the first half of 2018 and is forecast to continue growing strongly in the last half despite plunging shrimp prices worldwide.
Vietnam’s rice exports saw remarkable growth in the first six months of this year, with year-on-year increases of 24.6 percent in volume and 42.2 percent in value.
The Foreign Ministry held a seminar in Hanoi on July 5 on external relations and the export of farm produce and aquatic products to the Middle East and Africa.
