Vietnam has emerged as the fourth biggest exporter of the Republic of Korea (RoK), with a total turnover of 2.2 billion USD for the first four months of this year, up 36 percent year-on-year.
According to the General Department of Customs, in April alone, Vietnam exported 550.4 million USD, worth of goods to the market, mainly crude oil textiles, seafood, coal, wood and timber, and rubber.
Textiles experienced the highest export turnover with 411.2 million USD, up 45.37 percent, followed by crude oil with 396.7 million USD, up 366.2 percent.
Last year, two-way trade topped 21.675 billion USD, with more than 15.956 billion USD coming form Vietnam ’s export.-VNA
