Fatherland front meets outstanding overseas Vietnamese

Thirty outstanding overseas Vietnamese from 14 countries, returned home to enjoy the Lunar (Tet) festival and gathered together at a meeting held by the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee on Feb. 3.
Thirty outstanding overseas Vietnamese from 14 countries, returned home to enjoy the Lunar (Tet) festival and gathered together at a meeting held by the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee on Feb. 3.

Addressing the function, Vice President and Secretary General of the VFF Central Committee Vu Trong Kim stressed that the Vietnamese Party, State and the VFF are doing their best to protect the legitimate rights of the overseas Vietnamese community and put forth suitable policies to meet their needs as they are an indispensable part of the nation.

Many of over 3 million overseas Vietnamese people have succeeded in the fields of economics, science and technology and contributed to the development of the country they are residing in.

They, therefore, help boost friendships between Vietnam and other countries./.
