Hanoi (VNA) - A festival featuring Hanoi’s agricultural products and craft villages is expected to take place from December 14-17 in the capital city.
The festival, the first of its kind held in Hanoi, aims to promote the agricultural sector and support connection between production and consumption, seek opportunities to expand cooperation in agriculture and technology transfer between individuals, organisations, businesses in and outside the country, serving agricultural production and rural development.
The event is expected to feature over 300 booths showcasing products in Hanoi’s agriculture and rural development, especially those joining the one commune one product (OCOP) programme.
The festival will include areas for displaying Hanoi’s flowers and bonsai trees, and handicraft villages’ products.
Besides, 28 provinces and cities across the country are expected to join the festival.
The festival will be organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with the Hanoi People’s Committee./.
