Hanoi (VNA) – The third youth festival between Vietnam and China is scheduled to take place in Vietnam from November 7-10 as part of activities to nurture the bilateral friendship, mutual understanding and trust among the two countries' young people.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Hai Binh was informing at the ministry’s regular press conference in Hanoi on November 3.

The event will be co-organised by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Communist Youth League of China to implement the common guideline of the two countries’ top leaders on enhancing people-to-people exchanges, especially among youths, he said.

It is expected to help deepen the Vietnam – China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, he added.

The festival, themed "Vietnamese and Chinese youths join hands to foster friendship", will launch activities in the provinces of Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, and Lao Cai, and in Hanoi, focusing on environmental protection, cultural identity conservation, socio-economic development, tourism development, and art exchanges.-VNA
