A delegation from the National Assembly’s Finance and Budget Committee led by its chairman Phung Quoc Hien visited the US capital city of Washington from July 12 to 15.
During its stay in the US , the delegation met with Senator Robert Foster “Bob” Bennett and Charles Albert Dutch Ruppersberger, a Democratic member of the US House of Representatives.
At the meeting, chairman Hien praised the contributions made by US parliamentarians to boost US-Vietnam relations as well as enhancing ties between the two countries in the past.
He said he hoped that they will continue to bolster bilateral ties in the future.
The Vietnamese delegation also met with several US offices and agencies./.
