Finnish organisation supports the disabled in Da Nang

The Finnish non-governmental organisation Fida International will provide 156,000 EUR (213,000 USD) for a project on the disbled in the central city of Da Nang during the 2010-2014 period.

The project will focus on providingeducation and vocational training for the disabled, improving their jobskills and creating opportunities for them to increase their incomes.

The first phase of the project was implemented from May 2006 to May2010 in several schools for disabled children in the city, includingthe Nguyen Dinh Chieu and Tuong Lai Schools./.
