Ho Chi Minh City’s Saigon Zoological and Botanical garden has put on display two white tigers (Panthera tigris tigris) on the occasion of the Lunar New Year festival.
The tigers, one male and one female named Lem and Luoc, were imported from Elmvale zoo, Canada last December 2009.
With striking white fur, light chocolate stripes and blue eyes, white tiger is a rare species in the world which mainly lives in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Bhutan./.
