The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism is inviting hospitality enterprises involved in travel, hotel, transportation, catering and entertainment to join a programme to promote Vietnamese tourism in North America starting this September.
The northern coastal province of Quang Ninh welcomed 86,000 tourists, including 19,000 foreigners, during the three-day National Day holidays from September 1-3.
Vietnam has emerged as a promising market in the hospitality sector among ASEAN-member countries, especially for luxury hotels and resorts, speakers said at a hotel and resort conference held on September 24 in Ho Chi Minh City.
