Free book-café funded by RoK opens in Da Nang

A free library project was inaugurated in Da Nang city on October 30. It was funded by Daegu city, the Republic of Korea to mark the 15th anniversary of friendship between the two cities.

The Da Nang – Daegu book-café-park is located at the Dam Rong 2 recreation and community house in ThuanPhuoc ward, HaiChau district.

It has a total investment of 15,000 USD with 1,500 books of different genres, including literature, history and reference books in Vietnamese, English and Korean, among others.

The Korean-style book-café-park is expected to provide a new cultural entertainment venue while promoting a reading culture among both locals and visitors.

It’s the second public library funded by Daegu city after the success of the first one that opened in the locality in November 2017./.
