Duringan interview granted to Vietnam News Agency in France, member of the FCPCentral Committee DenisRondepierre said the article has many similarities with the FCP in issue analysis and approach, adding that the FCP shares the view of the Vietnamese Party chief on the modern capitalist sytem and its crises.

Economic development must go hand in hand with socialprogress and fairness.
Accordingto him, countries need to review international relations and globalisation inthis direction, focusing on partnerships and comprehensive cooperation insteadof competition among nations.
Hecalled for dialogues and joint projects that could be carried out byinternational organisations such as the United Nations and its organs.
Commenting on Vietnam’s Doi moi (renewal) andachievements of its socialist-oriented market economy, Rondepierre said progresses over the past 35 years of renewal haveproved that Vietnam's choice of the path towards socialism is a sound approach. Vietnam becamethe fourth largest economy in ASEAN with an average income per capita of 3,512USD last year. Its rate of poor households was reduced from 58 percent in 1993to below 3 percent in 2020. The country not only ensures food security but alsoexports food and farm produce. The United Nations hailed Vietnam as one of thefirst countries to achieve millennial development goals.

The CPV has been able to found a development path suitable for the country’srealities based on Marxism-Leninism. The concept of socialist-oriented market economy is a breakthroughin term of ideology and creativity, he said.
Amid uncertain developmentsin the world, he suggested all progressive forces globally should enhanceinternational cooperation to deal with difficulties related to environment,food and health security, global and national security./.
