Gathering marks Romania’s 95th National Day

A senior Vietnamese official has noted with pleasure major successes that Romania has reaped over the past time at a gathering in Hanoi on December 1 to celebrate the country’s 95 th National Day.

Chairman of the Vietnam – Romania Friendship Association Tong Van Nga thanked the Romanians for their support to the Vietnamese fellows in the past fight for independence and the current development as well.

He said Vietnam and Romania are preparing for the meeting of the Inter-Governmental Committee on Economic, Sci-tech and Trade Cooperation. Two-way trade in January-September hit 32.7 million USD.
According to him, people-to-people exchanges between the two countries have fared well, alongside progress made in political, economic and cultural connections.

Romanian Ambassador to Vietnam Valeriu Arteni sounded his confidence about fine relations between the two nations, particularly in politics, economics, culture and education for the sake of their people.-VNA
