Gifts sent to Vietnamese Cambodians in Preah Sihanouk

The Vietnamese Consulate General in Preah Sihanouk and the Khmer-Vietnam Association in the province on July 29 presented gifts to 150 Vietnamese Cambodian households and 20 Cambodian ones that are living in difficulties amidst the complex developments of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Phnom Penh (VNA) – The Vietnamese Consulate General in Preah Sihanoukand the Khmer-Vietnam Association in the province on July 29 presented gifts to150 Vietnamese Cambodian households and 20 Cambodian ones that are living indifficulties amidst the complex developments of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The gifts came from the community support fundraised by the Vietnamese Consulate General.

Sharing with the Consulate General, Vietnamese Cambodianssaid that they have received much attention from local authorities, and beenvaccinated against COVID-19 for free.

They also took this opportunity to thank the attention andsupport of the Vietnamese Party, State, Consulate General and donors, affirmingthat they will make efforts to overcome difficulties.

The Cambodian Health Ministry announced 765 new COVID-19infections on July 29, including 328 imported ones, raising the national tallyto 75,917./.
