Domestic gold price topped 29.5 million VND (1,512 USD) a tael on September 8, an increase of 200,000 VND over September 7.
A tael of gold is equivalent to 1.20z.
At 4pm, Bao Tin Minh Chau quoted buying/selling gold price at 29.43-29.49 million VND while Sai Gon Jewelleries Company sold at 29.49 million VND a tael.
On global market, spot gold increase 6 to 1,259.10 USD an ounce, in sight of the all-time high of 1,264 USD in June.
US crude eased 0.3 percent to below 74 USD a barrel./.
