Nationwide urbanization rate reaches 41 percent
As of June, Vietnam had 883 urban areas of all types across the country, representing an urbanization rate of 41 percent, up 0.6 percent from the same period last year.
Hanoi aims for urbanization rate of 75% by 2030
Hanoi is striving to achieve an urbanization rate of about 60-62% by 2025 and approximately 65-75% by 2030, with 3-5 urban areas having their brands recognized regionally and internationally.
