Vietnam’s Hanoi Law University has pledged to provide 100 scholarships to Lao law students, teachers and justice officials.
The pledge was made during the working visit to Laos’ Savannakhet province by Rector of the Hanoi Law University Phan Tri Hao last week.
During the talks with Director of the Savannakhet Provincial Justice Service, Mr. Lamthong Khobsilavong, the Vietnamese educator said his university would provide three doctoral degree, 25 master degree and 72 bachelor degree scholarships to students, teachers and justice officials in northern, central and southern parts of Laos.
Hao said he hopes the provision of scholarships will contribute to Laos’ socio-economic development.-VNA
