Hanoi's insurance offices are working hard to quickly approve records and accelerate payments for labourers (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Over 1.2 million labourers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Hanoi havereceived financial support from the municipal unemployment insurance fund,reaching 74.3 percent of the total employees eligible for the support.
Hanoi’s social securityagency also announced a reduction in contributions of employers to the city’sunemployment insurance fund for 84,384 units with an initial amount of morethan 367 billion VND.
According to Vice Director of the Hanoi’s social security agency Vu Duc Thuat, thecity’s insurance offices are working hard to quickly approve records andaccelerate payments for labourers.
Apart from delivering support to employees, Hanoi’s social security agency hasalso paid attention to popularizing Resolution No.116/NQ-CP of the Governmentthrough the mass media, radio stations of communes, wards and towns, and socialnetworks so that employers and labourers know about their benefits and relevant procedures, hesaid./.
