Medical workers take blood samples for testing (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – The 2020 Highlights of the AmericanSociety of Haematology (ASH) in Asia-Pacific is scheduled to take place inHanoi from March 13 – 14 next year.
The conference, to be organised by the ASH incoordination with the Haematology and Blood Transfusion Society of Vietnam, isexpected to welcome about 1,000 delegates in the fields of haematology,oncology and other specialities from Asian-Pacific countries.
At the event, specialists will analyse andpresent reports previously released at the ASH’s annual meeting. Participantswill also be updated with the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment ofhaematological diseases.
With more than 17,000 members from nearly 100countries, the ASH is the world’s largest professional society serving bothclinicians and scientists around the world who are working to conquer blooddiseases.
Its mission is to further the understanding,diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders affecting the blood, bonemarrow, and the immunologic, haemostatic and vascular systems by promotingresearch, clinical care, education, training and advocacy in hematology./.
