Hanoi youth volunteer campaign launched in Vientiane

A 40-member group of Hanoi youth launched their 10-day volunteer campaign in Xaythany district in Laos’ Vientiane capital on July 15, during which they are schedule to organise various social and community activities.
A 40-member group of Hanoi youth launched their 10-day volunteercampaign in Xaythany district in Laos’ Vientiane capital on July 15,during which they are schedule to organise various social and communityactivities.

Dubbed “Hanoi youth join hands toreinforce friendship with Laos”, the campaign is jointly held by theHo Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi and the Hanoi YouthFederation.

During their stay in Laos , the groupplans to provide free health exams and medicine to 1,000 locals inXaythany in addition to offering guidelines on preventing epidemicdiseases and accidents.

The youth will also transferadvanced technology in animal breeding and cultivation to locals whilevisiting and distributing presents to those in need.

They will share experience in youth union work and conduct cultural andsport exchanges with their Lao counterparts in the locality as well asorganise training courses on accident prevention to children in a numberof local kindergartens.

On the occasion, the groupwill also present school equipment worth over 1 billion VND (45,860 USD)to children in Vientiane .

This is the eighthtime Hanoi youth has carried out this kind of volunteer activity inVientiane, which contributes to promoting children and youth movementsin the two capitals and continues nurturing the traditional friendship,special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the twocountries.-VNA

Lam Dong police complete Quang Trung Campaign six days ahead of schedule

Implemented from October 6 to November 30, 2025, the campaign’s achievements were also reflected in its impressive outreach.
